As one of the most experienced members of the Dash of Class Platinum family, DJing has been my passion since high school. Making people dance is something I’ve truly enjoyed & experienced a tremendous thrill of for 25+ years. Entertaining at weddings is my passion. I love sitting with my couples at their final appointment weeks before their wedding to discuss all the details of what they “want” and “don’t want” as far as formalities and the music program for their reception. This allows me to coordinate behind the scenes with their other wedding professionals so they can just go with the flow and have a great time with their family and friends without worrying about the details.
I also love performing at engagement parties, corporate events, family/life events, etc. My exposure from performing at countless weddings has led me to become the “Family DJ” for many wonderful families for all types of life occasions over the years.
Through my years of experience, I’ve mastered the craft of mixing & programming music while reading the crowd & dance floor in front of me. This is all while accommodating my client’s musical preferences. Reading the crowd and dance floor in front of me has always been one of my strengths. Being a polished & professional MC/Event Host has led to many referrals for me directly from events I performed at. I take pride in my technical skills as well as being well-versed in audio, video, & lighting production at the events I perform at. This has led me to lead, coordinate & entertain at a high level for many corporate clients throughout the years.
I’ve helped build the Dash of Class Platinum brand to be one of the most trusted, respected, and professional entertainment companies in the industry throughout the tri-state area.

A Wonderful Experience
Peter Sciortino and his team had us up and dancing from the start. We had a mixed wedding of Italian and Latin, and the music selection covered all the bases, from the lively tarantella to salsa and bachata. It was a non-stop party from beginning to end.Working with Peter from Dash of Class Platinum Entertainment was effortless. I asked Peter to recommend something unique to add a little spice to our wedding, and he suggested Pat the violinist. WOW! I can't say enough about Pat. He knew exactly when to jump in and play his violin and when to stay in the background. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and highly recommend Peter and his team. They made our wedding an unforgettable event!

!We can not say enough great things about Peter and Dash Of Class Platinum!!! Peter was our Dj, and was super helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. He asked us so many great questions to understand the age range of our guests, the type of music we'd want played, and he even gave us tips on other things such as invitations, first looks, etc.! We wanted very specific music played at cocktail hour and Peter converted a bunch of youtube files one by one for us to make it happen! He really does go above and beyond and you can tell how much the couples he works with mean to him. He is absolutely amazing and we are so happy we chose him and Dash for our big day!!

Best DJ ever!
We had the pleasure of dealing with Pete throughout our entire experience. From booking all the way to the wedding day itself. Through the whole booking process, including our 4 year postponement thanks to covid, Pete was extremely helpful, courteous, and professional. Than finally come the big day and Pete was nothing short of the best DJ we could have asked for. Our dance floor was packed the entire reception and everybody had a great time, all thanks to Pete. 11/10 highly recommended

I can't say enough about these guys! I am so glad I hired them for our wedding at the Stone House in Staten Island last week - it was such a blast. DJ Pete was the BEST MC, he was just great, impeccable timing, communication and his positivity set the tone for the entire event. DJ Joe Rocco was equally great with reading the crowd - he had the dance floor packed all night, and we had a small wedding of about 75 people. They arrived on time, setup quickly and everything was seamless. So many guests came up to us after and asked who the DJs were and said they had never EVER been to a wedding with such great DJing. What a night to remember, thanks to Dash of Class!! Hire them!!!

Incredible DJ!!!
Dash of Class Platinum Entertainment could not have done a better job at our wedding. We had Peter and Justin as our DJ and emcee, and they both had great energy and kept the night fun and flowing easily. From the ceremony music, to dinner to the dance party, their mix was incredible and they executed all of our requests perfectly.Dealing with them was so easy, and they were extremely responsive to any questions leading up to the big day. They were such a pleasure to work with and I can’t recommend using them for any function enough.

Awesome DJ for our wedding!
Dash of Class Platinum is our go to DJ for our family events. Peter was the DJ for our wedding in May and had everyone out of their seats dancing. He listened to our requests and played a wide range of music catered around our guests. During the event, he maintained momentum and easily had everyone dancing after each dinner course.
